Positions Now Available:
●HANDYMAN – 30-40 Hrs/Week
Pay Scale – $17 – $28/Hr. Depending on Level of Experience and Skills. Movement from $17 to $28/hour may be accomplished in as little as 3-6 months of starting employment.
Job Description & Requirements to Qualify:
●Must have experience in fencing installation, painting and drywall. Additional experience with carpentry, siding, landscaping, minor electrical and plumbing, texturing or other repair work is a plus. Pay scale is determined by your level of expertise.
●Must live Austin or be willing to commute around the Austin area to job sites. Preference to those living on the north side of Austin or Williamson County.
●Must have an operational & insured vehicle. You will be required to drive personal truck/vehicle and may use personal tools. Compensation for use of vehicle is built into pay scale and/or mileage reimbursement per company policies. Having a pickup truck is not mandatory but preferred.
●You must not have been convicted of a felony or other crimes involving moral turpitude.
●Drug and background screening is required.
●Must be reasonably proficient in English. Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.
●Maintain a professional appearance and abide by our dress code. This includes a standard uniform and identification to be worn at all times during working hours.
●Deliver excellent customer service by being punctual, having the ability to meet deadlines, performing your tasks as written in a proficient and timely manner and staying within budget timelines.
Additional Experience We Would Like To See:
●Experience with apartment or residential housing maintenance would be very beneficial.
●Prior experience in training co-workers to learn additional skills.
●Working independently without supervision.
